12/05/08 Unfortunately we are just so busy we do not have time to take photos for the site at the moment, to see the quality of Bonsai we sell and prices take a look through the Sold Bonsai section of the website.

05/05/08 New delivery of Japanese Bonsai just arrived.

29/04/08 Yet another delivery of Indoor Bonsai has just arrived this morning so we are now full once again with both Indoor and Outdoor Bonsai.

28/04/08 A new delivery of Japanese Bonsai has arrived today including, Satsuki Azalea, Crab Apple, Trident Maples, Deshojo Maples, Japanese Hawthorn, Cotoneaster, Ilex, Japanese Maples, Jasmine, Kashima Maples, Japanese White Pine, Japanese Quince, Junipers, Kiyohime Maples, Cork Barked Elm, plenty of Indoor Bonsai, Figurines, Bio Gold Food. Phone 023 8049 5729 for more details as we didn't get a chance to take photo's of the last delivery due to being too busy, and we have a very busy week this week too.

20/04/08 After a very good weekend at Swindon with the Continental Market, we will be looking at ways to get back there again as soon as possible so keep an eye on the 2008 Events page, other than that we are due back on the 19th June.
We have put the contact details for Swindon Bonsai Society on the links page, so all you new Bonsai keepers will be able to get together and share knowledge with each other.

05/03/08 We have just got back from Walsall where we have bought every single pot Walsall Ceramics had available, prices will be exactly the same as they are at Walsall but you won't have to drive all the way up there or wait for postage, we have pre ordered more for next month so if there is anything you want please ask.

17/01/08 Photos and prices of the new delivery of Tong Rae pots are now on the site under Tools and Pots, I will try and photograph more as time allows, we are pretty sure these are the best prices around, but if you know different please let us know.

15/01/08 We have just had in a new delivery of Bonsai Pots, from small Shohin sized up to very large Specimen sized pots. Please ring for full details of what we have available.

31/12/07 We would like to wish all of our customers old and new a Very Happy New Year, 2008 is an important year for us as it will be our 20th year of trading. Happy New Year everyone.

22/11/07 A massive delivery has just arrived, the majority being indoor bonsai but with a good selection of outdoor trees too, also smaller packs of Bonsai wire, Akadama in both 2litre and 4litre bags as well as the normal 16litre. Chinese Bonsai tools for those not sure whether they want Japanese tools yet, Small Sieve sets, like the large sets we normally do but only 8" in diameter, Japanese Watering cans, new figurines etc.

We have also obtained some Chinese Bonsai Tools at what we are sure is the lowest prices you will find anywhere.

09/09/07 We were once again awarded a Large Gold Medal at the Romsey Show Trade Horticultural Exhibition.

23/08/07 Bonsai Turn Tables now back in stock, after searching for some time we have been able to locate more turn tables the same as those we use here, nothing fancy but do exactly as they are meant to do and will not rust no matter how often you accidentally water it.
Ours are left outside all year round and have been for years without a problem, £4.99.

We also have Keto Tsuchi a dark sticky peat from Japan used for rock and slab plantings enabling you to build a retaining wall for your normal soil mixture into which the roots of your trees will eventually grow into and merge the two together.

We have hundreds and hundreds of used Chinese pots here from 10cm up to 40cm and we need to clear them out to make way for new ones, any size or shape are just £1.00, (collection only) ideal as training pots and about the same price as plastic ones.

24/11/06 We are very pleased to say we were chosen as suppliers of the Bonsai used as Gold Trophies for the Visit London Awards 2006 held at the Roundhouse Theatre, Camden, London NW1 on the 23rd November.
The Bonsai, 24 Large Chinese Elms in matching Tongrae Pots looked superb with the Plaques sponsored by Visit London and Eurostar on the front of the pots.
Recipients of our Bonsai include famous names such as Gordon Ramsay, The London Hilton on Park Lane, The National Portrait Gallery, The Tate Modern and Covent Garden as well as many others.

Collette is now taking people for 1 to 1 lessons on all aspects of Bonsai at a very reasonable £10.00 per hour, you can either bring along your own trees to work on or we always have stock here needing work for you to use instead.
Collette has taught some of the "experts" most of what they now know as well as quite a few of the current Bonsai dealers in the UK, she has also appeared on BBC television, local radio, in magazines and various other publications.
Bonsai Collette has worked on have been exhibited and sold for vast sums of money in Europe, and they have been of a standard high enough to be awarded a Large Gold Medal at every show we have exhibited at this year, as well as two best overall displays in show, they have also been loaned to the BBC as well as other film production companies.
And finally a comment from a lady having lessons already, "I have learnt more in two hours with Collette than I did in the six months (including a week long course for £600+) I did at a local school of bonsai."

We would like to thank all at Hunters Landrover Southampton for getting us our new Range Rover Sport, especially Andrew (dealership manager) for the use of his own car for our test drive and managing to get our car without the long waiting list, David (our salesman) for all his help with the many questions we have had and hassle we have given him over the last couple of months, and lastly but certainly not least, Carly (reception) one of the most helpful young ladies we know, she seems to know exactly where everything is and what needs to be where at any given time, definitely an asset to the company.
We hope you all enjoy your new Bonsai and that they become the start of a new fascinating and relaxing hobby.

South Hants Koi Club Members. If you would like to see us at your show for this year could you please inform your committee as we have had quite a few of you stating that it seems a bit silly that we are your local Bonsai Nursery (20 mins from show) and not in attendance and you would like to have more choice. Your web master informed me that I could not go due to the fact that Windybank does not want to have to compete with another dealer therefore depriving you of that choice (I am sure there are a few Koi dealers who feel the same). We are happy to attend and only need a small space, 12ft outside would be ideal.

I would also like to take this opportunity to say Hello to all of our non U.K. visitors and all others that are not able to purchase from us, but we do hope you like the pictures. I keep being asked where people can get Bonsai of similar quality outside of the U.K. If you know of a good Bonsai supplier please let me know as I would be interested in reciprocal links to help everyone.

Remember our Bonsai come from the same importers as about 95% of the dealers in the U.K. But are only about 50% of the price.

I have been told that I only have expensive Bonsai on the web site, and that this puts a lot of people off, well our trees actually start at about £4.99 (for a real Bonsai, not a seed kit or a twig in a pot), so we have something for everyone. On the other hand don't be put off by the low prices of our specimen trees, these come from the same importers as used by about 95% of all Bonsai dealers in this country, we all pay the same for them, we sell more so can keep the prices low.
